Modon Properties (Modon), mandated by the Abu Dhabi Government to develop real estate, tourist and housing projects in the Emirate, announced today the launch of construction works of the first retail strip mall, north of Riyadh City (formerly known as South Shamkha). The project, which will start in April 2019, covers over 25,000 sqm, with a building area up to 8,000 sqm.

Once completed in Q3 in 2020, the retail strip mall will include seven restaurants and 14 shops and supermarkets to cater to the needs of the local population. The project will also have a temporary 400 square meter supermarket, to be completed by June 2019, to provide amenities to local residents before the completion of the main project.
