H.E. Hamad Al Ameri commends foresight of the UAE leadership at the opening of Riyadh City construction project

Modon Properties (Modon), mandated by the Abu Dhabi government to develop real estate, tourist and housing projects in the Emirate, today welcomed the comments of His Excellency Hamad Nukhirat Al Ameri, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA). His Excellency recognised the wisdom of the leadership of the UAE to launch modern and high quality housing infrastructure for citizens in the UAE.

Speaking regarding the opening of the new project, His Excellency Hamad Al Ameri commented: “Riyadh City is one of the most significant residential infrastructure projects that has been launched in Abu Dhabi. It is one of the largest and most sophisticated residential projects in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and aims to provide 13,000 residential plots within a fully integrated and high quality housing complex.”

Speaking at the launch of the preliminary construction works, south of the Riyadh City project in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency recognized the foresight of the UAE leadership to ensure housing for UAE citizens can ensure their stability and prosperity, alongside ensuring their living standards meet the highest international standards.

Discussing the ground breaking on the new infrastructure project, H.E. Hamad Al Ameri commented that ADHA is working in close partnership with Modon Properties to complete the first phase of the housing project by finalizing the infrastructure of 3,000 residential plots by 2021.

Abdulla Al Sahi, CEO of Modon, said: “Mangrove Walk is the first of its kind in Modon’s destination package, which aims to enhance Abu Dhabi's profile in ecotourism. The project covering over one million square meters is filled with maritime mangroves trees which will be used for tourism, creative and educational purposes for both residents and tourists.

His Excellency outlined the subsequent stages of the Riyadh City project, which includes the completion of infrastructure components, and delivering land plots to beneficiaries. The preliminary infrastructure works south of Riyadh City will serve around 13,000 plots for residents. The project is expected to be fully completed by 2023.
