Hamdan bin Zayed briefed on two tourist developments in Al Dhafra

ABU DHABI ,  24 February 2019

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, was briefed today on two proposed tourist developments in Al Dhafrah Region presented by Modon Properties (Modon).


This came as H.H. Sheikh Hamdan today received Jassim Mohammed Al Zaabi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office, who presented an overview of the two developments, located in Liwa Oasis and Al Merfaa City.

The first development is an international tourist resort sprawling over eight hectares and consists of two adjacent areas noted for their unspoiled, dazzling beauty and greenery.

The second development, located 136 km from Abu Dhabi City, boasts a 155-hectare facade overlooking the Arabian Gulf, noted for its rich fauna and flora.

"The ongoing developments across various sectors in Abu Dhabi are all premised on maintaining the tourist and economic competitive edge enjoyed by the emirate," said Sheikh Hamdan, noting the significant efforts made by various state departments with the ultimate goal of accelerating the developmental drive in line with latest international standards and best practices.

Attending the meeting were Falah Mohamed Al Ahbabi, Head of Urban Planning and Municipalities- Abu Dhabi and a number of senior officials.
